The Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University has been a leading voice in the field of early childhood development, especially around the role of relationships. Their new work, termed “ECD 2.0", focuses on connecting the brain to the rest of the body in a broader ecological context. Dr. Lindsey Burghardt, Chief Science Officer at the Center on the Developing Child, and a practicing primary care pediatrician, joins us to help synthesize and translate the science behind the impact of the built and natural environments on a child’s health and development.
