Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

Comfort and progress do not mix.

Anything that is significant is also going to look scary.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit- fruit that will last- sand so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16

2 Corinthians 5:7 "for we walk by faith, not by sight."

How move past defeat:

1. Who you listen to determines who you become

faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. Romans 10:17

2. Sometimes you have to think back in order to move forward.

But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. Lamentations 3:21–22

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. Psalm 77:11

3. Your singing can change your situation!
