I share the concept of "holding the tension" in many areas such as faith, parenting, and relationships. I stress the importance of not gripping beliefs too rigidly by using an analogy of the finger puzzle with the woven material from years ago. The harder you pull, the more tension you put on the finger puzzle and the harder it is to get your fingers out. This is the same in many areas of life. I want to encourage you to use Jesus' example of beautifully holding tension and to practice this approach for freedom, peace, and personal growth in your own life.
