Welcome back to The Retro Blood as we continue our Annual Halloween reviews with the entire 1980s Friday the 13th movies. Up next, if you like Telekinetic abilities like Jean Gray or Carrier, girls skinny dipping in lakes and 3 couples having sex all at the same time this is the review for you because Retro Blood is talking all about Friday the 13th Part 7: The new blood.

Join James Kline and J.A Alison as we get invited to our cousin birthday party in the woods and look to get laid while a stranger girl with superpowers raises up a dead serial killer.

We talked first about quick thoughts on Part 7 and James trying to open his beer.

Then we get into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal around the movie release date May 13, 1988.

In Pro Wrestling we talk a WCW Saturday night show in Tampa Florida with Berry Windam freshly joining the 4 horseman and great promos by Sting and Dusty and a beef match between Road Warriors and the Power of Pains.

In Metal we talk about Judas Priest and their album “Ram it Down” we talk Priest at this time and how this Album was discus to be Turbo 2 in a Turbo double Album.

Then we get into Who book this Shit!!

We talked about another new director, John Carl Buechler and his work in some great films and him and writer Daryl Haney having the idea to add the Telekinetic powers angle into the Friday storylines.

We talk Paramount trying to do a crossover at this time in the late 1980’s with New Line to bring Freddy vr Jason to the big screen. We talked about why this didn’t happen.

We talk about the famous actor who plays Jason and takes it all the way to this day Kane Hodder.

We talked about some production and some different ideas writers had for the new blood and the working title.

Then we get into the full review of Friday part 7: The new blood with Tina and her powers she masters all in one night, Nick trying to get some ass and running around to save his life at the same time. We talk the kids and how they were booked to get killed and smoke weed and have sex. We talk the killing scene being cut hard in this movie and how it would have been better to leave them in and much more.
