What was the reason the whole nation of Israel - meaning both Houses of Israel and all twelve tribes - were conquered, exiled, and scattered to every nation on earth? We can name several issues, such as idolatry, wickedness, and unrighteousness, with all the symptomatic sins associated with those things. But what about divisiveness?
Psalm 133 speaks of the high priority God places on His people dwelling together in unity. Paul writes about that in Romans 12, exhorting Yeshua's followers to live at peace with others. So, then, why don't we live at peace with our brothers and sisters in the faith? Is that a reason the nation of Israel remains divided and scattered?
Barry Phillips and David Jones investigate these questions in the context of the Torah Awakening among Christians. If it really is the restoration of the House of Joseph and the beginning of reconciliation with Judah, then what can we do to help that process - or at least not hinder it?
