Welcome back to Saucy but Sweet with Ali McPherson this week we’re going to be diving into the thick of it. Our last episode was about how we are handling being in the thick of this pandemic, but this week we will focus on something just as serious: police violence. These last few months have been filled with uncertainty. Millennials have gone from worrying about the pandemic, to protesting and using their voice to speak out about police brutality. Across the country, millennials are putting their lives on the line to bring social change and better the lives of millions of Black Americans.

This week we are joined by two white allies, Georgia native Alexandra Sapp who is using photography and video to spark change, as well as using her platform to educate her followers and New York-based Journalist and translator Roman Gressier. Gressier has become a valuable ally and continues to protest to bring out change. Follow Alexandra on IG @alex_sappy and @alexandra.sapp. Follow Roman on IG @romannoodles and on Twitter @romangressier.
