Today I’m talking about the ultimate walk-on player, Rudy Ruettiger. Rudy’s journey started after witnessing the horrific death of a co-worker at the coal plant where they worked. After seeing his friend die, Rudy was overwhelmed with the feeling that it was time to chase his dreams. He quit right away and set out to attend Notre Dame and play football.

He did just that and the story was turned into one of the greatest sports movies of all time. But the story of getting the movie made is even more impressive then the story told in the movie as Rudy spent 8 years trying to get his story told.
Today Rudy continues to inspire millions as he travels the country speaking to people about love, kindness and taking responsibilities for your dreams.
