The phrase "the darkest hour before the dawn" does not appear in the Bible, but the concept of going through trials before experiencing victory is present throughout the Scriptures. One example of this is found in Psalm 30:5 which says, "For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." This verse suggests that even though we may experience moments of darkness and despair, God's favor and joy will eventually come. Another example can be found in Romans 8:18 which states, "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." This verse reminds us that the trials we face in this life are temporary and pale in comparison to the eternal glory that awaits us. As for how this can be used as an encouragement, we can take comfort in the fact that difficult times do not last forever, and that God is with us through them. We can cling to the hope that joy and victory will come in the morning, even if we cannot see it in the present moment. In this way, we can find strength to endure and persevere through whatever challenges we may be facing. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sendmeradio/support
