On today’s show, as our NFL season previews continue the outlooks shift radically as we head down south. Between the North and the East divisions in both conferences, I counted no fewer than 8 teams with a viable chance to get to the Super Bowl, in the Eagles, the Cowboys, the Bills, the Jets, the Lions, the Packers, the Ravens and the Bengals, but as we look to the 8 teams from AFC and NFC South, outside of the Texans, is there anyone who can realistically make that title run? This has to be where the losses come from to offset all the wins we’ve been passing out and all of the overs we’ve predicted. But that’s not to say these divisions won’t be relevant; quite the opposite in fact. There are so many players and storylines to watch for, like maybe getting a full Anthony Richardson season; like whether Trevor Lawrence has another level to his game; like how far will Baker Mayfield take the Bucs; and how much can Bryce Young do on this pretty bad Panthers team to overcome his rough rookie year?
