We interviewed Jonte Grose and Morris Arnold. Both Jonte and Morris are ISU Alumni who played multiple sports. Both of them graduated in 2020 and they are currently attending university in Australia. Both of them embodied the educational-based athletics philosophy and showed what it means to be a student-athlete. They have made tremendous growth as an athlete, but more important as a person.

Not only were they great team players, but they also were supportive of others, kind and respectful to their coaches and they showed great sportsmanship on- and off the court. What makes them so unique is their maturity, kindness and their respect for the Mongolian culture.

Talking to them you can feel how much they appreciate and value the life experiences the International School of Ulaanbaatar gave them.

It was amazing to have them on the podcast.

'True friendships are made at the Chinese embassy in Ulaanbaatar' - Morris and Jonte

'All new things are hard, but do not let that de-motivate you. Keep pushing day-by-day' - Jonte Grose

'The experiences last forever, do not play for the medals but for the experiences' - Morris Arnold

'My friends and the people around me pushed me to become the best version of myself' - Jonte Grose

'Sport is a big part of how we stay connected with all our friends from all over the world' - Morris Arnold
