This week on the Nerd we talk to Christopher Carter, host of the Locked On Steelers Podcast, Co-Host of WPXI Skylights, and writer for DK Pittsburgh Sports.
Our featured charity this week is the Community Empowerment Association: an organization that aims to establish an organized, structural approach to address the specific needs of at-risk youth and families in distressed, marginalized communities. It's their mission to restore, reclaim and transform distressed communities through strategic planning, collaboration, advocacy, education, and training. Additionally, by consistently generating jobs and economic sustainability, CEA serves as an institutional foundation for the strengthening of Black communities.
We talk about the upcoming NFL Pittsburgh Steelers vs Buffalo Bills match, Christopher’s view of the Steelers currently, including the consistency of their defense, and his stance on their backup quarterback.
He gives us his predictions for what the Steelers’ offense will look like this season, including how they will use Pat Freiermuth, and we then wrap things up with an analysis of each teams’ strengths and weaknesses, and our predictions for their match, as well as their placements this season.
