How do you get someone to open up to you?

Here’s the tricky thing: When you come from a position where you HAVE TO get someone to open up to you, you’re screwed.

Just like with any other desire you have in your life, it all starts with you – your openness to receiving it, even if it doesn’t turn out the way you want it to.

Tune in to this episode: How To Get Someone To Open Up

Key points covered in this episode:

✔️ Speak with zero judgment. No name-calling or accusatory language. See where the other person is coming from. Be open to what both of you are expressing.

✔️ Be receptive, even if what they say hurts. Encourage them to tell you more. Don’t invalidate their feelings but rather seek the truth. Thank them for speaking up.

✔️ Be a basin for love and openness. The intimacy flows when you allow it to come to you. Before difficult conversations, get rid of excess energy so you can receive your partner’s feedback with compassion.

✔️ Don’t squash the thing you desire. Everyone’s expression is different. Whether it lands softly or hard, inviting it creates more depth in your relationship.
