Kraws college career started in Ohio with Miami where he played in 19 games for the RedHawks. Kraws would transfer to Arizona State after two seasons and became the starting goaltender in 2021-22 posting a 2.97 goals against and a . 907 save percentage.

In his first year with the Scarlet and Brown, graduate student Kraws was nominated for the Hobey Baker Award. The award criteria includes candidates exhibiting exceptional character traits of the award's namesake, Hobey Baker.
