Volkswagen has an incredibly long heritage in the campervan sector, and its California, which it produces in its own factory, it a market leader.
With its retro style and cool design, the all-electric ID. Buzz and its commercial vehicle version, the ID. Buzz stands out from the crowd - and a campervan version would be absolutely stunning.
I attended the UK media launch and drove some of the first right-hand-drive models, then had to find out about the prospects for camper conversions and Volkswagen's own California version.
