Ryan Bicknell has so very many stories to tell as he graciously takes us on a whirlwind tour of his extraordinary life. We start with his family history in Uganda with characters ranging from Mother Teresa (literally) to dictator Idi Amin, come to learn of the serious lifestyle change created by his family’s move to Canada when he was young, and delve into his incidental start and longstanding career as a commercial realtor. No matter the topic, what stands out the most is Ryan’s deep enjoyment of life - from small details and random acquaintances to major events and deep connections - it seems as though Ryan gets the most out of every moment and interaction. We muse about his ability to connect with people of all walks of life, remarkable attention to personal details, and serious commitment to random acts of kindness… but mostly we just try to keep up with the rich tapestry of people and events that make up Ryan’s world.
