In this awesome, thought-provoking message, The True Gospel of Salvation Part 2, we learn that the Word of God in Galatians 2:15-21 clearly states that by faith alone through Christ Jesus that we are declared righteous.
One commentator is quoted saying, “Justification by faith is our defense of our Christian liberty against any form of legalism.”
The Doctrine of Justification by faith in Christ is so crucial and critical to our salvation experience.
Any doctrine that is contrary to salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, and in Christ alone is a damning heresy. It is a false gospel.
The scripture is clear that it is by faith in Christ Jesus plus nothing that justifies us. We are confident that everything God is ever going to do has already been done through the finished work of His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus shed his blood on Calvary and paid the penalty in full for our sins.
The true gospel of salvation is through Christ alone, by faith alone. It has nothing to do with the intellect, emotions, or something anyone conjured up in their minds.
We place our trust in Christ Jesus. We are called to witness the true gospel of salvation to the lost! What do we say and why do we make witnessing to the lost so difficult?
We end this lesson with practical applications that will strengthen us on our faith journey with Jesus and help to witness to the lost.
We pray for salvation and deliverance for all who have never called on the name of Jesus! Amen.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).
