Ryan talks about how not knowing his father impacted his life, purpose and relationship with God. There were some key moments where he experience and encountering the love of the Father(God). Ryan obtained his Science degree from the U of A in 2006 and followed this on with his Chartered Accountant designation shortly thereafter. His time at PricewaterhouseCoopers provided a strong foundation to step into private industry and build his experience. Ryan’s passion to build companies and work with entrepreneurs has been the primary driver for his career’s trajectory. His experience has spanned many industries - resulting in the creation of the private services firm Refine Financial Inc. Through Refine, Ryan focused on providing business owners the solutions they need to build their business, financing, management, mergers and acquisitions in private and public markets, and navigate the challenges that come from growth or downturns. Ryan currently works with business owners through Refine, acts as an Angel Capital investor in unique opportunities and participates in business acquisitions with dedicated investment partners. Ryan also volunteers for various charities, focused on helping those in need, ranging from Board or Advisory Committee Member to operational assistance. Mike Frank lives in Florida with his wife Robbie. They have been married for over 43 years. For the first half of his career Mike was a high-level executive with General Mills, PepsiCo and Walt Disney Company. He then helped build MFS Communications and then became a cofounder of Level 3 Communications. In 2009 to 2016 Mike and Robbie lived in Redding California where Mike completed his book Prosperity with Purpose and founded the Shasta Angels Group for Entrepreneurs. Mike has also served as a Board member for various for profit and nonprofit organizations including being the first president of The Hope Center for Kids for the first several years of its existence.
