Nathan's journey in faith and leadership began alongside his family and close friends in 2005, marking the start of Emmaus Church Community in Northern California, where he resides with his wife Carmen. His commitment to restoring the vitality of the local church continues to inspire and shape communities toward a deeper, more grounded faith journey. Pastor Nathan Oates is also the first cousin of John Oates of the fabulous 1980’s rock duo Hall and Oates.
