So much of the work that I do with clients I see mirrored in my own character traits. I've worked on these toxic traits so strongly with myself over the years, that I feel like now is the right time to have a conversation about them. As someone who likes to marry the science with a more spiritual side of our psychology and our mindsets, I love to look for patterns. One pattern that I've noticed occur so often in myself and in my clients is the pattern of the three P’s - people pleasing, perfectionism and performance. Today, I’ll explain these traits and how you can start working on them.

What You’ll Learn:

- Where people pleasing comes from and how we benefit from it

- How to stop taking things personally, including other people's opinions of you

- How people pleasing prevents you from setting healthy boundaries

- The strategies to reframe your fear of being judged and letting people down

- The affirmation you can use to help you your fear of judgement

- What perfectionism paradox is

- How to start seeing imperfection as vulnerability that enables your growth

- How performance is linked to people pleasing and perfectionism and why it's so toxic for us

I want you to be asking yourself over the next week: How am I slipping back into people pleasing, perfectionism and performing habits? What do I need to change within myself in order to start living for me and taking back control of my life, knowing that I'm entirely worthy exactly as I am without falling back on these behaviours in order to keep me safe?
