Poetic storytelling done well gives prophetic insight for life, providing leaders with encoded wisdom for the decisions they face. I am a storyteller from the nations. I write in the prophetic tradition of the ancients and the poetic tradition of the Inklings.
My considerable cross-cultural experience has brought me to the conclusion that parables, poems, and fables impart personal prophetic insight, especially to leaders who have experienced disappointment in their faith journey.
I am an itinerant Christian-faith advisor who lives near Dubai and serves internationally with experience in about thirty nations. I have written as an author for as many years, but largely privately due to the sensitive nature of some of the nations where I serve.
This fall, I am releasing a six-volume epic Texas tale about a jaguar who remembers the Garden of Eden and enters South Texas. The series is called The Jaguar Oracle.
I draw from twenty years of overseas experience, including eleven years in Afghanistan. (Plenty of stories from those years.) I pour this cross-cultural experience into the traditions of C.S. Lewis and George MacDonald to produce "magical realism" fantasy for a very good story, but more than that: to impart courage, comfort, guidance, and healing.
