In today’s episode Kayla and I will be talking about our absolute best international travel tips. Welcome to the show!

  • Don’t forget to put these things in your carry-on: a pen, headphones, copies of your documents, a travel scarf or blanket in case you get cold on the plane, reusable water bottle, and your cell phone charger.
  • Why you need to arrive at the airport 2.5 or 3 hours before your departure time, even if you’re a seasoned international traveller.
  • When the airline desk opens at the airport.
  • Plan for parking or take an Uber.
  • What it is like traveling internationally?
  • What to expect going through security.
  • Arriving back to the United States and going through customs.
  • Travel Tips: make sure your luggage doesn’t weigh more than 50 pounds, notify your credit card in advance of your travel, and check your cell service provider to see if you have an international phone plan. If you don’t have one, plan on using a messaging app like What’s App? for your calls and texts.
