Do you struggle with making peace with your parents and what happened in your childhood?

Do you judge yourself for the way you’re showing up as a parent and maybe doing some of the same toxic things that were done to you as a child?

Steph and Craig are joined today by Josh Connolly, a resilience and wellbeing coach from the U.K.

His new book, It’s Them, Not You, offers a pathway to heal your inner child and break free from the traumas of the past.

Josh has been sober for 12 years and opens up about what it’s been like unpacking the trauma from his childhood as well as navigating how it affects him as a parent today.

The conversation explores the contradicting nature of the human experience and the importance of being open to changing perspectives.

Josh also shares his passion for breathwork and the role it’s played in his life and his healing.

By the end of today’s episode, you’ll be looking at your relationships with your children, yourself, and your parents much differently.
