Hello listeners and welcome back to the RxPerts Podcast! I am Carol Motycka, your host, bringing you interesting guests who will share their perspectives and expertise regarding topics surrounding the profession of pharmacy. Today we have with us two special guests, Dr. Eric Egelund and Dr. Anthony Casapao, both Associate Professors with the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and both specialists in Infectious Diseases.
They recently published an article in Clinical Infectious Diseases titled: “Pet Nemo’s Pills”: The Last Loophole in Antimicrobial Stewardship? and are here today to discuss the growing trend of pet medication usage among humans and some of the issues surrounding this.
