Welcome back listeners! We decided to drop an episode in the middle of our summer sabbatical - listen in on this gem as we gear up for season 2...

Hip hop beef has always been present in the music industry. For example, the east coast vs west coast feud involving Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.Go in the 90's, was a major feud in the music industry that may still have an impact, currently. As the music industry progressed changed as time went on, new artists came about with fan bases that were extremely dedicated. Newer artists began having certain fanbases associated with their brand: Lady Gaga had her "Little Monsters" fanbase, Kesha and her "Animals," One Direction had the "Directioners," and so on. These fan (stan) bases also developed during the boom of social media. Twitter and Instagram have played the largest role of the Stan Culture movement. This has made Stans, Stan bases, and Stan groups more influential than ever. Listen is as we discuss the impact Stan Culture has on music, social media, and celebrities themselves.
