In this episode host, Belle Osvath, CFP® interviews Jim Blair and Marc Kiner, co-owners of Premier Social Security Consulting. They also created the National Social Security Advisor Certificate program which was the first national program to offer certificate training to financial planners for Social Security.

They talk about the current state of the Social Security Trust fund, what’s on the horizon for benefits and where they think politicians may make changes to the program in the future. Jim and Marc also give a few eye-opening examples of benefit strategies that helped clients maximize their incomes, that (without professional guidance) the client would not have known about.
