To someone in the future, you are a #fiction. Your entire life story could be told as a narrative work of art. Think about that. Now, consider this question: What if the very stories of our lives, the narratives that our lives often take, were actually conscious lifeforms—sentient entities with their own desires? Think about a personal experience that unfolded over a period of time. Consider its beginning—how that story or event was “born,” how it developed and, “grew,” and how it evolves and adapts with each retelling and re-membering. One could argue that stories are merely constructs—the meanings we assign to events being nothing more than labels or projections, constructions of the human mind. But reality has likewise been defined as a construct. As has the Ego—that which you identify as. In past episodes, I have asked, “Is sound conscious?” and have argued that there could exist entities that are only perceptible to us as waves of sound.
