In Our Vision and Duty & Sovereignty, author and founder Starik Pollock gave his view of a way forward for the Carpatho-Rusyn people in the 21st century. Now, in this third installment, Pollock delves into the negative influence that Western foreign policy and cultural imperialism have had on national movements and how it relates to his own community.
Ever since the fall of the iron curtain, Carpathian Rus' and its people have become increasingly influenced by western thought and lifestyle. While this has been a positive thing in many cases, the true downsides of such a process have yet to fully show themselves. It is in this thought that the purpose of A Critique of Western Influence is not another vision towards a better future, but an expose on the perils of modern westernization grounded in the desire to avoid sharing in its consequences. Covering topics such as the global economic system, wokeism, and the hidden agenda of nation-building in foreign policy, all areas of this new cultural movement are examined.
