Pirates Insider Jake Ignaszewski is joined by newly hired Head Coach Mark Stoute as he re-joins the organization for his third season as a part of the coaching staff. Stoute was the team's Offensive Coordinator last year and under his offense, the team was the 4th-best in the league. Stoute brings 27 years of coaching experience to the Pirates and has previously been the head coach for multiple different indoor leagues.
In this episode, Stoute reflects on the 2022 season and what he plans to change going into this year compared to last season. The new Pirates head coach shares his coaching philosophy and the traits he believes go into a successful team. Stoute then dives into the best way to build chemistry and how the team's planning to handle if players move up to the XFL or USFL. Lastly, Stoute explains how his coaching style has changed over the years since getting his first coaching gig in 1995 with the Connecticut Coyotes of the AFL.
