S03 E02 - Adam Pownall
Here it is, S03 E02 of the Sunshine, Freedom and Flowers podcast!
What happens when three old friends get together over Zoom and share three things that brings one of them joy? A really, really long edit for Dobbie to work on! Its often said that there's stuff on the cutting room floor, but its certainly not hyperbole for S03E02 - Adam's story and joys are inspirational and Dobbie and Drew couldn't resist the love in when it was their turn to speak! Thankfully, 14 episodes into the podcast, Dobbie is getting better at keeping the Guest and their joys front and centre.
S03 E02 was recorded on 27.04.21 via zoom and the audio reflects this at times.
Its not unusual on the Sunshine, Freedom and Flowers podcast to start with some tragedy or life event that, when overcome, sets a guest on a path towards deeper joy in life and so it should be no surprise to hear Adam give a frank and emotive recollection of a time in the not too distant past that was a physical and mental low point in his life. However, the best bit about Sunshine, Freedom and Flowers is that our guests always share the joy and the growth they experience from such events and its clear to anyone listening to S03E02 that all three of Adam's things not only bring him joy but have been informed and influenced by his past. Its hard not to be inspired by his personal journey, his career and what the future holds for him.
