KJ, Meredith, and Katie (Making It Up As We Go) are recapping this episode and asking some very basic questions about this week’s monster that this episode and even Meredith’s mythology section don’t really have answers for. It’s an episode of fun facts where Kentucky is called out for naming it’s towns with pronunciations at odds with the rest of the world, KJ mixes up two famous inventors and causes a tangent for no real reason, and John Winchester is unfortunately back on the pod’s radar.

Sam and Dean fight because Sam is skeptical that it is really John on the other end of the phone and warns Dean not to listen to him but Dean disagrees and sets off on his own path to follow his father's orders.
