Episode 61 finds the Tailer Park crew a little light, but we have a guest that has traveled over 3,000 miles visiting, so we fired up the Traeger had some tasty wood fired treats for dinner and leaned into it. Our good buddy, Jimmy is back in Florida for a couple of days from Bethel / Ketchikan where he alternates landing on the ground and water depending upon what time of the month he’s flying. Jimmy shares a little insight into what it takes to make the leap of faith that took him out to the frontier to live and work full time, what life is like flying in and out of remote villages and his future plans. Ben shares details of his recent exploratory trip to a mysterious bass pond / lake / retention pond where he put his latest “Dusty to Crusty” fly rod set-up to work. Larry tells yet another story of not catching fish while on the skiff, his specialty. A Mail Barge delivery arrives from afar in a recycled MRE box. When opened, there is some genuine excitement that follows! Who knows what else gets kicked around, rum was being poured and lies were told. Stay Trashy
