In this week's episode we talkabout another family classic: 'Ice Age'. The film featuring a mammoth, sloth and sabre-toothed tiger on their quest to return a baby to it's family. Not to mention the fiercely dedicated Scrat and his love plot with his acorn.
We try and work out what those weird looking animals are, highlight Scrat as the MVP of the whole damn planet and discuss Sid's great one liners. Ultimately, does this nostalgic, animated classic deserve a space on our DVD shelf? Listen to find out!
As sloths go, Sid is pretty energetic. I know he shows elements of laziness but he moves pretty quickly and even fights off an army of Dodos. He also struggles to sleep at one point. Perhaps Sid isn't a sloth at all. Perhaps he's being controlled by Scrat, Ratatouille style. This film makes a lot more sense when you realise one of the lead characters is being controlled by a sabre-toothed squirrel.
