When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Tape Swap’s first show of 2022 premiered in April on WDIY 88.1 FM and featured the Shards Session with Laurel Canyon. The four-piece band is a new addition to the Lehigh Valley music scene, having recently releasing their debut EP, Victim, in January 2022. Laurel Canyon is made up of guitarists Nicholas Gillespie and Serg Cereja, bassist Dylan Loccarini, and drummer Egan Miller. The band joined us in March 2022, fresh off a recording session with famed producer Steve Albini in Chicago.
The remainder of the show featured DIY, punk, and indie songs that got us through the pandemic. Listen to the songs selections on Spotify below.
