Andrew Zipkin is an analytical chemist at Eurofins EAG Laboratories and President Elect of The Society for Archaeological Sciences. If you had asked him if he would have a career as an archaeologist and chemist when he graduated from Southside High School in Rockville Centre, NY in 2005, I am certain he would have thought that an impossibility (he was planning on pre-med at the time). But his education and career journey took him in unexpected directions.
