I am reading the book EGO is the enemy and I love the book. Some concept of that book is really not that much great but someone of them was really amazing and my main goal was from reading a book is to take 2-3 pieces of advice and according to that, I rate the book. One of the best pieces of advice that I learn from that book is Always to be a student.
Always be ready to learn something new because when you believe that there is a lot to learn in this universe, you stop putting yourself as a tag that you know everything. When you think that you know everything, you stop feeding your brain and due to this, you create a huge wall of EGO and due to this wall.
When someone comes to you and tells you something about the topic that you know a little bit then you are like " chal chal, muza mat shikha". That type of attitude leads you to be more egoistic.
When you are a student, you are self-critical and self-motivated, always trying to improve his understanding so that he can move on to the next topic, the next challenge. A real student is also his own teacher and his own critic. There is no room for ego there. I hope you like the episode and if you like that subscribe to my podcast.
