An 18-year study by a team of marine scientists led by UP Professor Lemnuel Aragones has recorded that, out of 30 marine mammal species found in the Philippines, 28 have experienced stranding among 35 hotspots across the country. In this episode, Dr. Aragones discusses the various causes of these strandings and how they can be prevented and addressed by local government units and concerned individuals.
