When it comes to selling your consulting services at a sales meeting, what is the stance you adopt?
If your stance is to try to win the sale every time, perhaps you actually undermine your authority. Your attitude towards the sale and your demeanour in the sales meeting, will greatly affect the level of authority you portray, which will either enhance or undermine your authority.
Have you ever tried to change the dynamic in the sales meeting to where you are interviewing the client to see if they are qualified to become your client, instead of being interviewed by the client to see if you are worthy to win their business?
