Brian Taylor and Alistair Grant are joined by SNP MP Alison Thewliss, new Labour MSP Paul Sweeney and returning Conservative MSP Miles Briggs in this week's episode of The Brian Taylor Podcast.

They take a look at the Cabinet reshuffling in the Scottish Parliament, and pay particular attention to education, where John Swinney was removed as education secretary to take on a new role which focuses on Covid recovery.

The group also cast their eyes to the chaotic scenes in Glasgow's George Square at the weekend following Rangers' lifting the Premiership trophy. And an ongoing Covid situation in Glasgow City and Moray means the two areas couldn't follow the rest of Scotland in entering Level 2 lockdown restrictions this week. Discussion turns to what that means and what can be done.
