The AIG Women’s Open at St Andrews brought the curtain down on golf’s major season for 2024 – but did it also shine a light on some of the challenges the women’s realm of the sport is facing?

Disappointing crowds, not enough media coverage, lots of retirement chatter... all were on show throughout the week and, whilst some people would gladly turn a blind eye to that, The bunkered Podcast will not. Because that’s not how you solve problems.

On this week’s episode, Michael and Bryce discuss all the above, whilst also praising the extraordinary Lydia Ko who is, at long last, a major champ once again.

The guys also get into the Matt Fitzpatrick driver debacle, Keegan Bradley’s playing-captain prospects, and (of course) the big Oasis reunion. No, for real.
