Jason Shader Smith is the founder and principal of The MLH Agency, an integrated marketing agency providing full-service branding, public relations, and event curation services. Passionate about working with mission-led startups, he founded MLH in 2023 to provide small and medium-sized businesses with fractional marketing support. Today, the agency provides agile marketing and PR strategy to businesses of all sizes and specialties including Ace Handyman Services, Heyday Skincare, Andrea Schumacher Interiors, Studio Thomas, and saymore.
Prior to founding MLH, Jason worked in management consulting and operations for PwC and private equity investment leader Leeds West Groups. In these roles, he led data transformation and customer loyalty projects as well as recruiting, fleet management, and marketing initiatives for brands like Midas and Big O Tires.
Based in Denver, Jason is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington. When he’s not helping mission-led businesses grow, he can be found trying new restaurants or sharing advice about airline points and travel rewards.
