On this Wednesday episode of The College Football Survivor Show, Doug Lesmerises and Shehan Jeyarajah look at the three regular playoff participants that missed the playoff this season: Ohio State, Clemson and Oklahoma.

What will it take for the Buckeyes, Tigers and Sooners to get back in the thick of the playoff mix next season?

All three schools underwent major changes this offseason.

Ohio State hired four new assistants, including new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles.

Clemson lost both coordinators -- Tony Elliott and Brent Venables -- and promoted Brandon Streeter and Wes Goodwin from within.

Oklahoma hired Venables as its head coach after Lincoln Riley left for USC.

That's a lot of new faces for three big-time programs.
