Dr Jonathan Davies is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Contemplative Studies Centre in the School of Psychology, University of Melbourne. He is also a long-term meditator, meditation instructor, cognitive neuroscientist and science writer. His research interests are many and varied, but include exploring the effects and mechanisms of contemplative practices (such as mindfulness and compassion meditation) on health and wellbeing.
