Segment 1

Sam starts off the episode by reading a section from his book Everyday Awakenings, “our mistakes are not here to make us feel bad, they are here to teach us”. Sam explains his mindset when writing this section of his book a few years ago, explaining how he wrote it after he made a big mistake and feared the worst, but he was still able to succeed, learning a huge lesson in the process. Sam then introduces his guest for today’’s episode, Loral Langemeier, CEO, speaker and author. Loral Langemeier gives some background on herself, discussing her childhood on a farm, and how that impacted her desire to become an entrepreneur. The two discuss what in Loral’s life specifically pushed her into the entrepreneurial career path, with her explaining that during an event in college she was given a life changing book that inspired her to be an entrepreneur, even though she’s always had it in her. Sam and Loral discuss the restraints of having a job as an employee, which was not the life for them, and have found that the entrepreneurial life is the one for them.

Segment 2

Sam and Loral discuss Loral’s Millionaire Maker book series, Loral bringing up that she has a new book coming out in the series about how to make your kids millionaires, as she was able to, on paper, make both of her kids millionaires by age ten. The two continue to discuss the reason behind why Loral goes out of her way to help and train others to become millionaires. Loral goes in depth about why it's important to become a millionaire and break the six figure mark in your business, and how difficult it is to break the six figure mark as an entrepreneur because at a young age we’ve been trained to be employees and not entrepreneurs. Loral explains how she felt when she first hit the million dollar mark in her business, as well as her mindset and plan when she became a single mother while running her business.

Segment 3

Sam and Loral discuss sequencing, which is when you have a blueprint of how to run your business, doing the right thing at the right time for your business. Loral continues to discuss her feelings when she first found out she had become a millionaire, and how it was a little more anticlimactic than one would expect, as it was planned and expected by the time she reached that threshold. The two discuss what makes it difficult for people to be able to achieve the millionaire status, and which of these factors we should all be aware of. Loral also explains what was the most difficult part of becoming successful for her personal journey to becoming a millionaire, and how she was able to overcome this difficult stretch of her journey. The two also discuss the secret of “work less, make more” which Loral often brings up in conversations around becoming a millionaire, in which she explains that it means to hire a team, allowing you to lead more while your team takes care of the other work. Sam brings up the mindset that many people have that we have to do everything by ourselves to be successful, but this isn’t really the case as there are only so many hours in a day, and it is incredibly helpful to you and your business to not do everything, and delegate certain aspects to your team members. The two also discuss the shift in the business environment in the past year, Loral explaining that she believes that the new business environment has made it for entrepreneurs to need to have strategic intelligence to be successful. Loral cirizies a specific generation that is currently joining the workforce, describing them as the “participation era” workers, explaining that they have a lack of a value set, and that being an entrepreneur is not a participation game. The two discuss how quickly currency has been changing in the past year, focusing specifically on crypto currency, and NFTs. Sam and Loral also discuss opportunities today that average people can look into for possibilities for investment.

Segment 4

Loral gives advice on how average people can get started in the investment and entrepreneurial world, and what they should be looking out for. Loral also explains how she helps many entrepreneurs get on their feet when they’re first starting out, specifically focusing on grants that she helps people get. The two also discuss inflation, and what people should do about it and avoid inflation. Loral gives some advice for people to be able to beat inflation as she explains that we’re currently in an inflation period. Loral explains where she sees things going into the future in the next five years for the entrepreneur. Loral discusses recent mandates regarding the workforce in the United States, disagreeing with the vaccine mandates. The two discuss mandates in a general sense.
