Today marks one year since Hamas brutally invaded Israel and massacred 1,195 people, taking 251 hostage. The Economist calls the last twelve months “the year that shattered the Middle East.” In light of all the challenges in the news and our daily lives, let’s ask: Does God want us to be happy or to be holy? And why should we trust God in such a broken world?
