In this episode, Brett and Laura talk about how people often lie to themselves. You see it often; you probably do it yourself. When we lie to ourselves, that is us putting our own mental limitations, keeping ourselves from succeeding. This is a passionate topic for both Brett and Laura because they see too often people doing this both professionally and physically.

Laura talks about how these self-imposed limitations could be a side effect of how someone was raised. Brett talks about how this mindset that someone can adopt when they are young can be with them for their whole life. That is why Brett and Laura are so passionate about the importance of getting rid of that self-doubt and stop lying to yourself. They are an example of what you can truly accomplish if you try hard enough. If you feel inadequate with your skillset and you keep telling yourself that, it is keeping you from succeeding in what you want to do; then look up what you need to learn.
