“National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” (1989) holiday comedy classic. They guys snuggle in with Kahlúa hot chocolates for an annual viewing of the John Hughes penned Chevy Chase vehicle to cap off our second season. Local Moncton cable stations will be revered, digital rental prices reviewed, Chris Columbus called out, “The Hero’s Journey” embarked upon, the stitching of Clark’s suede work gloves studied, and the parallels (finally) drawn between yuppies and hipsters. Season finales don’t get much better folks — Hallelujah! Holy shit! Where’s the Tylenol?
