For every two hours, staying by a kerosene lantern is the equivalent of smoking two packs of cigarettes.

When Habiba discovered this fact, she searched for solutions to solving the problem of indoor air pollution. That search led her to start Sosai Renewable Energies, which provides clean cooking stoves, mini-grids, and solar home systems to rural communities in Northern Nigeria.
