In his talk, "Sanctifying Our Lives in the Digital Era," Raymond Nader, president of the Family of Saint Sharbel, addressed the challenges of maintaining a spiritually meaningful life amidst modern distractions. Drawing on Christian teachings and the life of Saint Sharbel, Mr. Nader emphasized the importance of deep reflection on life’s ultimate purpose. He highlighted Saint Sharbel’s virtues of humility, obedience, and detachment from materialism, urging everyone to adopt these qualities in their own lives, regardless of their circumstances.

Mr. Nader stressed that sanctity is a universal calling, achievable through a personal relationship with God, regular prayer, and living according to Christ’s commandments. He acknowledged the difficulties faced by Christians today, particularly in the Middle East, and encouraged perseverance in faith, inspired by Saint Sharbel’s resilience.

This talk was given in 2018.
