This week Chris welcomes Danny Roberts, star of MTV's iconic Real World: New Orleans series. In this revealing interview, Danny spills secrets on what it was like joining the show back in 2000 and becoming an overnight gay icon. Growing up a closeted country boy, Danny never imagined he'd end up becoming a celebrity, walking red carpets, and signing an exclusive development deal with The CW network. From small town to overnight fame to walking away from it all, Danny's story has more twists and turns than a Pride parade. He dishes on what happened behind the scenes of the cast's reunion on Real World Homecoming and shares which reality show would get him to make a return to TV.

Though he doesn't do a lot of public appearances, he's embraced his role as a trailblazing voice for the LGBTQ community and sits down with Chris to share his very unique and courageous story with The Gist.
