Professional basketball is going on all over the world for both men and women. But what does women's professional basketball look like in Egypt? How does the life of a player for the women's national team compare/contrast/connect with the life of a professional basketball? Is the life of a professional women's basketball player all glamor? What is the gap between the Egyptian nationals and the imports playing in Egypt? Finally, what does GDP per capita and population have to do with the success of a national team in international competition? All these questions and more were answered so well by our guest today, Reem Moussa. Reem grew up in Egypt. She made her way to the professional team. She played high school basketball in Texas as well as college basketball in Texas as well. She now plays professional basketball in Egypt and is a member of the national team for Egypt.
